The first Salty Summers Beach Investigators event in Esperance this January was a huge success!

Jimena Ramon Montemayor, our South Coast Enviro – Experiences Project Officer, was joined by volunteers Thuriyya Ibrahim and Scott Timmins. They guided a group of enthusiastic children and parents for a beachcomb starting at the iconic Whale Tail along the Esperance foreshore.

The results were incredible; amazing organisms were identified and classified by the participants, as well as the unfortunate plastic encounters. Thank you to everyone that came along to learn about the ocean, ways to protect it and help keep our foreshore clean.
