South Coast NRM is currently establishing a natural capital development framework in partnership with regional First Nations, community, and industry partners. This program will support local business development and significantly increase the finance available to support the community in caring for the region’s unique biodiversity and natural resources.

Quotations are now sought from competent organisations to assist South Coast NRM in developing a commercial business case for a regional natural capital account and a suite of related pilot projects. These pilot projects will leverage natural capital values, including carbon and biodiversity, to catalyse complementary scalable private investment. The business case needs to capture and effectively communicate this approach’s key operational, commercial, and financial aspects to both technical and non-technical audiences.

To support the development of this framework, an application to the WA Government’s Market-led Proposal process has been lodged and is being considered by Government as part of the Stage 1 process. This work is intended to contribute to that application.

Please refer to the Request for Quote (RFQ) document for full scope and selection criteria.

Final submissions are to be emailed to info@southcoastnrm.com.au cc joeh@southcoastnrm.com.au by 4.00pm (WST) on 23rd August 2024. Quotes lodged after the closing date and time will be deemed late and may be excluded from consideration. We welcome quotes from across our network, but please note that demonstrable prior experience in business case development, including financial modelling, is an essential prerequisite.
