South Coast NRM has a single vacancy for a Non-Executive Director to join its board to contribute to the governance, strategy, purpose, financial wellbeing, and sustainability of the organisation.
The organisation seeks a candidate who will support the work of South Coast NRM in its advocacy and lead role in supporting independent natural resource management throughout the South Coast region of Western Australia.
The successful candidate will need to identify with, or have experience in working with, people and have strong links to the community with a very real interest in sustainable natural resource management and the protection of the area’s Aboriginal cultural heritage.
Director appointments are for a term of up to three (3) years with options for reappointment. The Board meets quarterly, in addition to the AGM. Availability to be contacted in between Board meetings as well as preparation time is required. Estimated commitment is 12 – 20 days per annum with all travel reimbursed and a sitting fee, in accordance with South Coast NRM’s existing policy.
