FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Financial Accountant to provide accurate and timely accounting records, forecasting and budgeting for South Coast NRM. This position is responsible for month end reporting as well as providing professional assistance and support to the Financial Controller.

The role would suit someone who is an Accountancy graduate or working towards similar qualification with a proficient understanding of accounting concepts and a strong attention   

to detail. The successful applicant will be able to work autonomously and within a small team, managing multiple tasks and competing deadlines whilst supporting the senior management team and the Board. The role is offered at a 0.8FTE but may be increased at times dependent on funding and needs.

CAPACITY AND ADOPTION PROGRAM MANAGER

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced individual with strong communication and negotiation skills to take on the role of Capacity and Adoption Program Manager. 

The role has a strong focus on the humanities and social sciences required to achieve capacity building, behaviour change and adoption, to support sustainability aspirations. The Program Manager will provide leadership by delivering and enabling effective team management, a focus on high quality project and program design and management, employing an 

inclusive, collaborative, autonomous and solutions-focused approach and brokering effective and mutually beneficial partnerships.

The role requires a knowledgeable and experienced individual with strong communication and negotiation skills. They must have experience in building and maintaining relationships, seeking and acquiring funding, and the ability to oversee the entire project cycle from development and contracting, through to monitoring, evaluation and reporting. We require a Program Manager with strengths in people and projects and who can take project initiatives from concept to successful implementation. You will fit the role if you are self-motivated, can manage competing interests and deadlines, and enjoy a challenge! ABORIGINAL REFERENCE GROUP COMMUNITY MEMBERS

We are calling for expressions of interest for Aboriginal Community Members to join the Aboriginal Reference Group. We are looking to appoint three (3) new Community Members.

In accordance with the Aboriginal Reference Group Terms of Reference, nominees will be assessed by the South Coast NRM Chief Executive Officer, the Cultural Heritage Program
Manager and a member of the Board with recommended members approved by the Board.

The Aboriginal Reference Group will guide the development, implementation and review of programs contributing to the Cultural Heritage outcomes of Southern Prospects 2019 – 2024, the regional strategy for the south coast. The reference group will focus on the recognition and respect of cultural heritage to ensure Aboriginal practices, spiritual and cultural values are incorporated across all NRM themes to support the conservation and protection of our natural environment.
