Our intrepid Regional Landcare Facilitator, Letisha Newman, joined more then 100 attendees at the recent Hay, Silage and Pasture Field Day in Narrikup. The successful day was hosted by Nutrien Albany, Oyster Harbour Catchment Group Inc. and Southern Beef.
Features of the Field Day included walks through varietal trials, presentations on the topics of hay, silage, seed, fertiliser, animal health, management and production. Local machinery dealers showcased the latest technologies in agriculture, along with local contractors, and heavy haulage companies.
It’s great to see a culmination of industry professionals and agricultural vendors supporting growth in the south coast agricultural sector.
