It’s the end of another incredible era as South Coast NRM farewells Karen Herlihy, Sustainable Communities Program Manager, after 14 years of amazing work! Karen has achieved outstanding success developing and managing projects and programs to engage the Aboriginal community in ground-breaking and lasting projects across the South Coast region.
Karen has encouraged and achieved collaboration with diverse organisations to improve the social, economic and environmental fabric of Aboriginal communities and organisations. Her innovative approach has seen new programs developed and successfully delivered, strong networks established, and with partnerships forged, has substantially elevated the profile of cultural heritage in our region.
Karen’s enthusiasm, energy, and unwavering support of our NRM team will be dearly missed in the South Coast NRM office. We wish her the very best with life’s new opportunities and adventures, and extend our sincerest thanks for her dedication to NRM on the south coast.
