Esperance volunteers were treated to a rare day of sunshine for a recent tree planting event at Salmon Beach, and just look at that spectacular vew! More than 200 seedlings were planted as part of the coastal restoration project. Thanks to Julie Waters, Environmental Coordinator from the Shire of Esperance and all the volunteers from LEAF (Local Environmental Action Forum), whose time and dedication to the Esperance environment is always inspiring.

The tree planting event was part of the South Coast Enviro – Experiences project, supported by Lotterywest. If you would like to volunteer with us and be part of future environmental events, register on our volunteer platform and you will be notified of opportunities along the South Coast that match your interests and availability, there is something for everyone!
