From the desk of Laura, South Coast Enviro-Experiences Project Leader.

The South Coast Enviro Experiences Roadshow has been hitting the tracks and travelling across the Great Southern and South Coast region, leaving behind a trail of inspired individuals. The enthusiastic team has been engaging with the community and encouraging all generations to get involved with their local environmental organisations to help protect their unique environment.

From Albany through to Esperance, the South Coast Enviro Experiences team travelled to promote awareness of environmental activities and encourage volunteering through the user-friendly volunteer platform. The roadshow is offering a valuable connection between the community and local organisations delivering exciting environmental volunteering opportunities to further enhance the collective impact of environmental initiatives in the Great Southern and South Coast region. The South Coast Enviro-Experiences project emphasises the crucial role of youth in environmental stewardship, encouraging active participation and nurturing the next generation of environmental leaders.

Our next roadshow will be at the City of Albany’s Green Fair on the Square on Saturday 21st October.  Come and meet the team and find out about the amazing environmental activities that are happening across the region. Then follow us down to the Marina where we will be supporting Tangaroa Blue’s beach clean-up event at 2pm and you can learn how to protect our oceans.

Can’t make it but you’d like to know more, then jump online and register on the South Coast Enviro-Experiences platform and Connect with your Communityhttps://bttr.im/2qcsk
