Esperance will host a workshop on the 26th of July on the newly announced Carbon and Land Restoration Program.

South Coast NRM and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), are hosting an informative workshop on the State Government’s $15 million Western Australian Carbon Farming and Land Restoration Program.

The Program aims to realise agriculture’s potential to sequester carbon and contribute to the growth of the Western Australian carbon market. On-ground soil and vegetation projects have the capacity to deliver environmental, social and economic benefits while contributing to the long-term sustainability of the farming industry.

This workshop is being offered to interested parties in the South Coast and surrounding areas. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the Program, ask questions of DPIRD representatives and find out how South Coast NRM can support you develop your own project.

Both in person and virtual attendance options are available.  You can get secure your free ticket here:  https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/wa-carbon-farming-and-land-restoration-program-workshop-tickets-162630735909
