SCNRM is extremely appreciative to be a recent recipient of $149,860 as part of the round-two Regional Economic Development Grants program as announced by Regional Development Minister the Hon. Alannah MacTiernan in Albany on Wednesday 15 January 2020.
The grant money will be used to develop the Seedling Great Southern Noongar Enterprises project. This project will provide training, equipment and mentoring for Tambellup and Gnowangerup Aboriginal communities to establish seed and seedling propagation businesses, as well as meet growing demand from the emerging native bush food industry and environmental restoration projects.
