It’s time to get counting! The 2022 #AussieBirdCount will run from October 17th ‒ 23rd during #NationalBirdWeek. Join thousands of people around the country in observing and counting the birds that live near you – in your garden, a local park, the beach or in the middle of town!
To take part, register as a counter, then during the week you can use the web form or the app to submit your counts. Just enter your location and get counting ‒ each count takes just 20 minutes.
If you are in the Albany area, join the Albany Bird Group on a 2 hour walk around Lake Seppings on Tuesday 18th October. You will have the opportunity to learn how to identify local birds.
Meet in the Lake Seppings carpark (Mira Mar side) at 9am.
