Administrative support assistant Jezelda Lethbridge is a Year 11 student from North Albany Senior High School employed through ATC Work Smart. Her work at South Coast NRM will allow her to complete a Certificate II in business whilst completing her Year 12 studies.

Cultural Connections project officer Chris Spurr said he was looking forward to Jezelda’s contribution to the Cultural Heritage team and helping to equip her with some real world work skills for her future.

‘I’m grateful for the opportunity that South Coast NRM is providing me and am excited about learning more about culture and gaining skills to work in an office. I like working with people and like being part of a team,’ Jezelda said.

South Coast NRM is in the process of developing its Aboriginal Employment Strategy which will guide how the organisation employs Aboriginal people, providing them meaningful and sustainable opportunities.
