Are you looking for a summer activity? Perhaps something to do with the kids during the school holidays? Well….Salty Summer Activities are here!

South Coast Enviro-Experiences Project Officer, Catherine Johnston, will be teaming up with local experts to deliver several fun and educational beach and bird walk activities during the school holidays.

Beach activities will be around 45 minutes to an hour, and will include a beach walk and beachcombing. These activities will be a great way for kids to engage and learn about our beautiful coastal environment.

We will also be delivering a 2 hour guided bird walk around Lake Seppings / Tjuirtgellong with Albany Bird Group.  This will be a perfect opportunity for families to learn how to identify our local birds.

Our calendar of events include —>

* Friday 6th January (10am) – Beach Investigators, Emu Point

* Wednesday 11th January (10am) – Beach Investigators, Middleton Beach

* Thursday 12th January (8.30am) – Bird Walk, Lake Seppings

* Thursday 26th January (1.30pm) – Beach Investigators, Middleton Beach. This Beach Investigators will form part of the City of Albany Binalup Festival.
