South Coast NRM recognises that Aboriginal knowledge is integral to successful natural resource management in the region, and works closely with the Noongar community to identify and protect sites of cultural and historical significance. This collaboration embraces Noongar ownership and control of projects and encourages Noongar community participation and sharing of traditional land management practices.
