In early 2013, the Torbay Catchment Group received funding from South Coast NRM to run workshops designed to increase skills and knowledge among small landholders within its catchment and the coastal communities of Princess Royal Harbour.

A series of eight workshops were delivered between March and June, attracting more than 300 people and covering a variety of topics, including weed control, pasture management, property planning, organic farming and estuarine ecology.
