Conserving the Stokes Inlet catchment

Project Completed before: June 30, 2013

This project aims to increase landscape scale connectivity in the Stokes Inlet catchment. Increasing landscape scale connectivity in the tributaries of the Stokes Inlet will focus on fencing and protection of waterways. This activity will increase the length of stream protected by vegetation buffers and thereby decreasing the amount of sediment entering the inlet. The vegetation corridors will also increase landscape scale connectivity within the catchment and provide valuable linkages to the South Coast Macro Corridor and the Great Western Woodlands.
