Position vacent - Optimising Lime Project Officer (Esperance)
South Coast Natural Resource Management Inc. is seeking an experienced project officer to fill new part time position to coordinate the Optimising lime project in the Esperance Port Zone starting November 2017.
Reporting to the Land Program Leader, the Optimising Lime Project Officer will be responsible for engaging with the Esperance Port Zone farmers on topics relating to soil acidity and amelioration. This hands-on role will require you to attend local agricultural events, develop a communications plan to promote the benefits of managing soil acidity with stakeholder groups and develop best practice natural resource management guidelines for lime extraction.
South Coast NRM is looking for an experienced project officer with strong communication and writing skills. You will need to be well organized, a good communicator, focused and able to manage tasks to deadlines. Preference will be given to those with good agricultural backgrounds. As a member of the land team you will have input into strategic direction of the theme.
